The Private and Intimate Concert Series Will Take Place At 53 Locations Across The United States

(Oakland, CA – July 27, 2021) – Eat. Learn. Play., the charitable organization founded by three-time NBA champion and two-time MVP Stephen Curry and entrepreneur, host and two-time The New York Times best-selling author Ayesha Curry, are partnering with American singer and entertainer Kelley James. James’ Million Meals Tour will help raise funds for those facing food insecurity in Oakland, CA and across the country.

Eat. Learn. Play. is joining Feeding America as a beneficiary of James’ second Million Meals Tour. James, along with tour sponsors, Lineage Logistics and Farmers Insurance, will work towards donating at least one million meals by performing CDC compliant, private, acoustic shows for hosts, their families, and close friends. “We started Eat. Learn. Play. to aid underserved communities in Oakland and beyond, with part of our mission focused on ending childhood hunger,” said Stephen Curry, Co-Founder. “We’re honored that Eat. Learn. Play. is to partner with the Million Meals Tour once again, and are endlessly grateful for Kelley’s unwavering generosity, ambition, and talent. He’s truly one of a kind!”

James’ second tour follows his tour in the summer of 2020, where he embarked on his first Million Meals Tour tackling the sweeping and growing food insecurity issues across the United States. "I couldn’t be more excited to head out on another Million Meals Tour this summer with my family and team to benefit Eat. Learn. Play.,” said Kelley James. Steph and Ayesha have opened my eyes to food insecurity in the last 18 months and I’m humbled to partner with Lineage Logistics and Farmers Insurance, along with the incredible show hosts, to help make a small dent in the pressing issue of food insecurity." Since the beginning of the 2020 tour, James has helped generate donations of over 1,500,000 meals to Feeding America and an additional $350,000 to Eat. Learn. Play.

“Tackling hunger in our community has been a priority for Eat. Learn. Play. since day one” said Ayesha Curry, Co-Founder. “Thanks to the overwhelming support of our partners and donors, such as Kelley, we have been able to work together to serve more than 17 million meals to Oakland children and families since the beginning of 2020."
The tour, which kicked off in mid-June and will conclude its run in early September, will stop for shows at 53 locations across the United States. You can expect to find Kelley James in Los Angeles, Seattle, New York, Chicago, Nashville, and other cities across the country. Visit millionmealstour.com for more information.
